The QGIS.ORG Association is as Swiss ‘association’ providing steering, coordination and marketing for the QGIS project.
Relationship with OSGeo
OSGeo has a partner relationship with QGIS.ORG with both organization supporting and promoting QGIS Desktop.
There is a standing voting membership in the QGIS.ORG allocated to a board member of OSGeo. As an OSGeo project QGIS Desktop has a project officer drawn from the membership of the QGIS Project Steering Committee.
