Biography
I work with spatial data in various contexts and thoroughly enjoy the diversity of disciplines and projects this work gives me access to. I constantly seek out new perspectives to spatial thinking and I love learning from the people I find along the way. I am currently working with architects, landscape architects, ecologists, Indigenous rangers and anthropologists. I work primarily with open source applications and, where possible, open data, and have felt the possibilities of my spatial world expand tremendously after becoming more engaged with open communities in the last few years. I have been helping organise open source spatial events in Perth in 2021, including the very successful and inspiring FOSS4G SotM Oceania Perth hub event.
