Biography
I am a Masters-PhD (Dual Degree) student in Geo-informatics and a Prime Ministers Research Fellow (2018) working at the Geocomputational Systems and IoT Group in Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I have completed under graduation in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur in 2016.
My research interests lie at the intersection of geospatial applications development, 3D computer vision for LiDAR data, machine learning, high-performance computing and signal processing. My Master's-Ph.D. thesis work involves the application of machine learning for onboard point cloud processing.
I have always been fascinated towards contributing for the open source community. I completed the Google Summer of Code 2017 as a student for the MapMint project under the OSGeo. I was a mentor for the GSoC 2018, 2019 for the MapMint and MapMint4ME project under the OSGeo foundation. As a part of it, currently, I am an OSGeo Charter Member trying to spread the spirit of open source contribution to the best of my capacity.
