Mathieu Pellerin

Biography

Mathieu Pellerin started developing QGIS in 2014 and became a core developer a few years later. For over a decade, I’ve focused on improving QGIS with a focus on UI and UX as well as insuring that users of complex languages (such as Indic-based Khmer and Burmese) are able to produce cartographic products in their own written languages.

In 2019, Mathieu started improving QField and quickly developed a passion for it. He subsequently joined OPENGIS.ch to become QField’s lead developer, where he spends his time adding new functionalities and insuring the UI and UX remains minimalist, mobile device-oriented, and user-friendly.
