Ponciano da Costa de Jesus, known as Ponsy, is from Timor-Leste, a small country in Southeast Asia. He serves as the CEO and founder of the Geographic Information System Group (G-SIG) in Timor-Leste, a youth-led organization dedicated to advancing geospatial technology for addressing critical challenges such as environmental sustainability, climate change, natural disaster management, and preparedness. Ponsy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geological and Petroleum Engineering from the National University of Timor-Lorosa’e.
