PDXOSGeo was formed in 2006 and acts as local chapter of the OSGeo Foundation for anyone in the PDX travel-shed. We are an active group of members who are passionate about open source software, GIS, and shared learning. Our group ranges from the geo-curious to the überhackers so we welcome your ideas and questions!
In 2014 we hosted the international FOSS4G conference: http://2014.foss4g.org/
Chapter members often organize or present on open source software at regional geospatial conferences. Membership is free and open to all comers – we meet monthly at various locations around Portland, OR
communicate primarily via our listserv , and our events are usually advertised on Calagator, the unified calendar for the tech community in Portland. Subscribe to either source to get involved!
