The Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) greatly appreciates and welcomes the contributions of the global student community. OSGeo Student Awards are given to acknowledge the excellent work of students . This year, we are pleased to announce OSGeo student awards for the best student presentation (250 USD) and best student poster (250 USD).
If you are a student presenting a poster or presentation at FOSS4G 2018, you are eligible to participate in the award competition. Please contact the Award Committee chairs Prof. Maria Brovelli (email – maria.brovelli@polimi.it) and Prof. Serena Coetzee (email – serenacoetzee@gmail.com) for any details needed.
The awards will be presented at the awards ceremony at the FOSS4G 2018 conference (Sundowner Cocktails, Thursday 30/8/2018, 18:30-20:00).
