The Irish Local Chapter of OSGeo are delighted to announce the hosting of the Third National Symposium in the Metropole Hotel in Cork City, Ireland on Thursday, 11th April 2019. We, the organisers, welcome all delegates to our third meeting as an OSGeo community in Ireland. Following on from our inaugural event in Limerick in 2017 and in Portlaoise in May 2018 the symposium moves to Cork city for the first time.
OSGeoIE 2019 will see a few changes and new aspects to the event. This year we are introducing some new opportunities for sponsorship of the event, a student-oriented poster competition to highlight OSGeo/FOSS4G related activities from students in Ireland and some changes to our presentation formats. However, we’ll retain the ever popular lightning talk format as before. We will also offer a student friendly priced ticket for the duration of the ticket sale period before the event. OSGeoIE 2019 ticket prices offer exceptional value: access to all sessions and workshops at OSGeoIE 2019, two tea/coffee breaks, lunch in the hotel, registration pack including the OSGeoLive USB stick, and many networking and learning opportunities during the event.
TICKET PRICES:
- Students (up to the day before the event) – €40
- Early Bird Registration (up to Friday 29th March 2019) – €60
- Standard Registration (from Saturday 30th March 2019 until the day of the event) – €80
